How are we different?

Gaining hands-on experience and knowledge of what to expect and how to excel in sales is what makes us so effective. Our program provides you with the tools and “real world” experience to set yourself apart in the employment market.

With Fuel Sales Academy, you are paid to practice your skills with a leadership team devoted to helping you develop and improve every day while you work with our client companies. A bit more about us:

We are process-driven, executing on a strategy to generate awareness and demand for our client’s solutions. Our team calls on prospects to educate, gain interest, qualify leads, and schedule product demonstrations. Pairing our startup experience with demand generation expertise, we are building unique teams bringing cutting-edge solutions to potential clients in Education Technology, Healthcare, and Financial Services. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple companies, solutions, and markets while learning every day and having a lot of fun.

Unlike other training programs that require you to pay a tuition upfront or through an ISA agreement, Fuel Sales Academy does not charge for our training program. We actually pay you. Through our one-of-a-kind “earn while you learn” program you will get paid while you are learning to excel at sales.

Since we do not charge you to participate in our academy we also do not have you under a binding contract of any kind.

Instead of making our money from the students, we make our money from our partner companies. When you are placed with a company, Fuel Sales Academy charges a fee to help recoup that training cost. In addition, while you are doing your live training work, you are setting meetings for a group of companies we partner with to generate opportunities for them. This is how we are able to create a live environment for you to develop into a successful SDR.

This is one of the most common questions we get. And we completely understand why. We have all heard the stories of sales bootcamps offering the moon when it comes to your sales education and the support you will get afterwards. But then after signing the ISA contract the student feels like they have been scammed and are now stuck paying a huge fee for very little support.

That is why we built our program to be tuition free. As a student of our program, you are not completing some complicated ISA agreement and you will never pay a tuition. Our unique “earn while you learn” approach helps our students focus on learning and developing instead of worrying about taking on any more student debt.

Since our students are making live calls each day, our methodologies and lessons never get stale. Our classes are constantly evolving with the market as we work alongside our partner companies, testing new approaches and learning what is working and what is not each day. Our bootcamp is all about laying a strong foundation of knowledge in the classroom and then taking it out to the real world and testing it. Our students learn how rewarding and difficult sales can be.

The training experience here is ongoing throughout your time here. On average a student is with us for 6-12 weeks. This allows us to develop and confirm your skills as well as provide you the time to practice those skills in a live environment. After you successfully graduate, you continue to get paid while we are introducing you to employers ready to hire.

One of the big issues our students struggled with in the past is finding the companies that have a strong culture, good support, and opportunities for advancement. We do a ton of work to vet the companies we are placing our students to ensure their long term success. The techniques we teach can work in many industries but we are very focused in tech sales or software sales.

We pay additional commissions once you start your live calling portion of the training. The commission does vary but ties in with the number of meetings you are generating by your work as well as the number of successful meetings that occur from that. We have attempted to parallel what you should expect to see in a position like you will have coming out of the academy.

We’re an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status

We offer the opportunity to participate in our academy both from home or from our office located in Kansas City, MO.

We are proactively working towards a community designed to support all of our academy graduates throughout their future career. In addition, our greatest desire is for your success and we try to make ourselves available for future needs.

We pay every two week based on hours worked. Our pay structure is 10-99. We pay $15/hr plus commissions.

Required: Laptop or Desktop computer running Windows 10 or newer or A Mac running 10.13 or newer, headphones or a headset.
Suggested: A second monitor, dual ear headset with microphone and noise cancellation, a mouse.

This position is for an SDR. This role is designed to be a relationship builder and connector. Your daily activity will lead to meetings being set for the AE/Salesrep. No deal closing, your focus is high quality meetings for the sales teams.

Not everyone who joins Fuel Sales Academy is going to graduate. You get out of the program what you put into it. Being in sales is not easy. Failure is a big part of sales and if you are not able to see failure as a learning experience and grow from it, this program will be difficult.
