Revenue Roadmap Outline

SECTION 1

In this session, we will be creating the building block you need to ensure that your sales and marketing efforts are aligned and successful. We will document your ICP, targeted Personas, and craft Messaging necessary to develop repeatable processes toward scaling your revenue. The lessons taught in this session will be used throughout the remainder of this program.

In this first working session, participants will share the work they completed from the Persona and Messaging homework to gain feedback and support in getting to a final product. Together we will work through any challenges or open items to ensure you’ve crafted clear and specific messaging that will carry you through the rest of the program – and lead to scaling revenue.

SECTION 2

This lesson is focused on sharing which marketing channels are most effective for K-12, how to choose which ones are right for your specific offering, and how to gain the most traction in the channels. You will also learn what metrics should be used to measure campaign effectiveness, so that you can make adjustments as-needed, saving time and resources.

As with prior working sessions, we will be reviewing the Marketing-specific homework, helping ensure you have identified the specific ways to best get your message to the marketplace, and have a plan for measuring your efforts. This is the participant’s chance to get that focused support and guidance for their specific solutions.

SECTION 3

In this session, you will learn the best practices for proactively prospecting in the K-12 space. We will review step-by-step instructions on building your outreach campaigns, and learn the most effective way to have a genuine conversation with your prospect that leads to interest in your solution.

Practice is what leads to a strong final output when it comes to the outreach messaging and the process behind it. In this session, participants will be given a safe environment to role play their specific initial script and review in detail the outreach plan they have created for feedback.

SECTION 4

Now that you have a solid understanding of how to engage with the prospect to create interest, it is time to work to close the deal. The focus of this session is on effective best practices during the sales presentation, and how to manage the conversation when objections come into the picture. We will also walk through the stages of the sales process and talk about the importance of mapping each step.

In this critical working session, you’ll practice what you’ve learned, receiving coaching in a safe space of your cohort team. Putting into action the lessons of the discovery process, we will role play discovery calls and help each other become more skilled and comfortable.

SECTION 5

In our final session, we will give you a high level understanding of the specific ways you can leverage what you have learned into a sales strategy. From conferences, to early adopter programs, and webinars, we will ensure you have a strong understanding of the tactics you can deploy to successfully build out your territory plan.
